Small Cabinet #

Built during 12 week intensive course at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine. The carcase is constructed from solid black walnut wood, joined with full mitered blind dovetails, finger joints, blind tenons and tapered sliding dovetails. The doors are MDF core with saw-cut black walnut veneer. The drawers are plywood laminated from saw-cut black walnut veneer. All veneers were milled from the same wood stock used to construct the carcase. The cabinet sits on low-profile machined aluminium feet. Finished with shellac and boiled linseed oil.
